To optimize the illustration of beer I use a special technique to stabilize the froth so that it sets longer and can be adjusted to the right height in the glass. This technique is ideal to make necessary adjustments during a photoshoot and it makes it possible to shoot several takes in a row on film. When a scene, for instance at a bar or a party, requires more beers in one shot, this method is particularly useful.
For the adding of condense, dripping of glasses and bottles, cold effects, movement and pouring effects, I use different techniques. Needless to say, pouring beer from the tap, with a beautiful and steady result, is no problem.
